Rome from October, 3 to 7, 2012

The Synod on the New Evangelization will be held in Rome from 7 to 28 October 2012.
A workshop on certain themes of the Synod will be held in Rome from Wednesday, October 3rd, 14.00 to Saturday, October 6th, 13.00. Participants are invited to attend the opening Mass of the Synod with the Pope on Sunday, October 7th morning at St Peter Basilica.

The objectives of the workshop are to:
- Contribute to the reflection of the Synod of Bishops
- Express a voice of lay and professional people and a position of Catholic Associations
- Allow participants to discuss the issues of the synod and become a player in the public debate around these concerns, in Church and society. The Rome workshop is just a first step in a process. See Pax Romana website www.paxromanawien2012.org

Participants will be members of international Catholic associations. We will ensure a significant representation of different continents and cultural areas of the world.
