Representatives of the Pontifical University of John Paul II visit the Angelicum

Representatives from the Pontifical University of John Paul II visited the week of September 16-20 the Angelicum to learn more about the running of a Pontifical University.

John Paul II, alumnus of the Angelicum, took a lot of effort to make the Pontifical University in Krakow survive and develop during the difficult times of communism in Poland.  Karol Wojtyla did some of his foundational philosophical and theological studies there during the Nazi occupation of the country as well as later his doctoral and post-doctoral studies.
