Women Making a Difference Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
This series will explore the unique contribution that women have made to the Church in the past, especially focusing on some of the women Doctors of the Church, including Catherine of Siena, Thérèse of Lisieux and Teresa of Avila. It will include also some recent women as diverse as Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Dorothy Day, and Flannery O’Connor.  Then we will explore together creative ways of how women and men might make a difference in the Church and in society in the 21st century by sharing the Gospel of Joy together.   The last session, designed as a workshop, will include a medieval luncheon that includes cooking ideas from Hildegard of Bingen.
