The IDF supports the patrimony of the Order of Preachers for future generations of laypersons and clergy in advancing Biblical, Theological and Inter-religious Research through its institutions in 
Rome, Jerusalem and Cairo.
President's Message: Upcoming projects in 2017
During 2017 with the cooperation of a number of loyal benefactors, the IDF secured the financial down payment on an endowed chair at the Angelicum.  At present we are nearly 75% of the way to our goal of $1.5 million to activate the Fr. Val McInnes, OP Chair and secure vital income for this teaching ministry at the service of the Church in Rome.  Many of you will be receiving more information in the mail about how you can help us complete this exciting project.  We are also pleased to announce that in the next few weeks we expect to launch The Angelicum News in order to reconnect to alumni and friends of the Angelicum in North America.
Ecole Biblique Student Interviews  
Recently published on the website of the Ecole Bilbique you can find an interview series of three students who completed their studies at the Ecole in January 2017.   
Angelicum Student Story

Doyen Nguyen has been a student at the Angelicum since 2010, currently a doctoral student in Moral Theology.  She shares about how God's providence led her to the Angelicum and how it has enriched her life both intellectually and spiritually.

IDEO: Dialogue between  
al-Azhar and the Vatican 

As described in their February newsletter, the IDEO updates that three friars from IDEO will be participating in the renewed annual delegation meetings between al-Azhar and the Vatican.  This past month the topic of the delegation was extremism and violence through a six part lecture series.
