2018 Dominican Month of Peace

In a letter to the Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical Lateran University, Cardinal de Donatis, for the inauguration of the new academic year 2018-2019, Pope Francis emphasized the importance of following a curriculum that promotes peace in the world.

The Grand Chancellor of the Angelicum and Master of the Order of Preachers, Most Rev. Bruno Cadorè, O.P., has proposed that every December be a Dominican Month for Peace in order to promote a global solidarity with our Dominican brothers and sisters who are trying to bring hope in situations of violence and war. The focus of our Dominican Month for Peace for 2018 will be on the Democratic Republic of Congo. Click here for the several initiatives that the Order is organizing for this month.
